Hey there! I’m John Choudhari, the co-founder of PlayerPlug. I am 28 years old, and was born in Setauket, New York. I moved to the Boston area in my early childhood, and this helped turn me into the avid Boston sports fan I am today. In my middle school years, I moved farther up the East Coast to Midcoast Maine, where I attended school in Thomaston, graduating from Georges Valley High School in 2008. I went on to attend the University of Southern Maine, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies in Spring 2014.

I have always had a passion for sports, technology, media, and projects that allow people to simplify yet enhance the way they go about their daily lives. I began to develop PlayerPlug in January 2015, and this project has been a passion of mine ever since. Aside from PlayerPlug, I also work other positions in the sports, news, and privacy industries. I currently work as a Sports Clerk at the Portland Press Herald, a Content Assistant at the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and as a Statistician for the Maine Red Claws.

Aside from the above outlining my clear interest in sports and media, I also enjoy reading and listening to music. My favorite books consist of the A Song of Ice and Fire series and the Harry Potter series, and my favorite musicians are Flume, Nas, and the late Mac Miller.

I was born and raised in Manchester, NH. I'm an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed a successful high school basketball career. I graduated in 2014 from University of Southern Maine with a Business degree.

While at USM I met  my future business partner, John Choudhari. We both expressed a passion and knowledge for all sports.  This never ending quest for sports led to the creation of what has become PlayerPlug; we wanted the average to avid sports fan to have access to everything in the sports world in a user friendly layout.

My family is everything to me. You can find me either in attendance or on the couch watching any type of sporting event.
